Volunteer with TEN
Join our sociable cycling club as a volunteer and discover the joy of giving back to the community!
Whether a parent, a current or ex-rider, or simply someone passionate about cycling, your unique background can make a difference. We offer a variety of roles, from coaching and race support to event organising and social planning, ensuring there's something for everyone. Plus, we provide training and a welcoming environment, so you’ll feel right at home. Come pedal with us and help create unforgettable experiences for all!
You can also find more information on volunteering on the Scottish Cycling Volunteer Hub.
Why volunteer?
Clubs like ours would not be able to function without the wonderful help of volunteers. Some give up hours of their time on a regular basis to keep the club progressing, while others can only manage the odd occasion throughout the year. Regardless of how much you can give, it always makes a big difference and is very much appreciated.
Volunteering gives a real feeling of satisfaction and can not only provide you with new skills and experiences, but help others to achieve their ambitions.
Our volunteers are well looked after and we do look at ways we can say thank you. This may be through early opportunities for event tickets or club branded goodies such as t-shirts, hats or bidons (drinking bottles)! And at most of our events, you won't have to look very far before you find some free food and drinks! Who said cycling had to be all about lycra, energy gels and hill reps!
